Where to eat in Saint-Montan and neighboring towns

Photo coming soon

In Saint-Montan, a meal can extend the walk in the calades. First check which kitchens are open on the day of your visit: village hours change with the season and lunch options are not necessarily those in the evening.

For a table of several families, call the restaurant with the full staff, children included. Ask for the proposed menu and reservation conditions before planning the trip.

Eat in the village

Thetown hall business directory notably presents Le Rempart and & Vintage. Consult their information sheets then ask for the services of the day, the menu and the conditions for your group. Referencing an address does not guarantee a table available on the evening of your visit.

The proximity of a terrace and the castle makes it possible to bring together meals and visit to the old town. Plan to walk from the parking lot: steps and stairs are important for people who have difficulty moving.

Viviers and Bourg-Saint-Andéol

In Viviers, The Relais du Vivarais presents its restaurant, its cuisine and the reservation of a table on its official website. Its site provides access to menus, the itinerary and the reservation of a table. For several families, call 04 75 52 60 41 in order to clarify the service, staff and menu; openings must be confirmed for your date. You can spend the rest of the half day the upper town of Viviers.

In Bourg-Saint-Andéol, The Clos des Oliviers also has a restaurant. Its restaurant and menu page, consulted on 6 October 2026, announces a service from Monday to Friday, from 12:00 to 13:30 and from 19:30 to 21:00; weekends are on request for groups. Confirm your table at 04 75 54 50 12, especially for a Saturday or Sunday. The hotel is on Place du Champ de Mars: the opening of the hotel all year round does not replace that of the chosen service. Our article on Bourg-Saint-Andéol gives the visiting points.

Both towns are about a ten minute drive from the Mas, traffic free. For other establishments, use the list from the tourist office.

The table at the lodge, another evening

The neighboring markets allow you to prepare a lunch or dinner at the estate. Our guide to Ardèche specialties explains abomasum, Picodon and cove; that of Côtes du Vivarais presents the wines of the sector.

The Mas gîtes are rented in self-catering. To check the kitchen facilities of the chosen accommodation or the needs of your group, write to Pascale. A restaurant or caterer remains a service to be reserved and paid for directly with them.
