Preparing for a family reunion of twenty or twenty-five: beds, meals and expenses

Before choosing the location, ask each household who is coming, for what nights and with what bed needs. A list of twenty-five first names is not enough if single people are each waiting for a room or if certain relatives avoid the stairs.

At the Mas, the six gîtes have exactly 25 beds. At twenty, you can privatize the entire area without occupying all the places. At twenty-five, we must prepare the distribution in the six housing units. The family reunion page presents the beds and the formula.

Sleep is prepared before arrival

Note couples, children, desired separate beds, and households that prefer to stay together. There are beds in the living rooms or on the mezzanine: allocate them knowingly, before sending the distribution to the family.

Each cottage has its own kitchen, toilet and shower. A large collective accommodation can facilitate shared meals; several lodgings allow more autonomy to households. To compare, look at the beds, the toilets and the space where everyone meets, rather than preferring one format on principle.

If your family grows to thirty, thirty-five or forty people who all have to sleep there, you need other accommodation. Our large workforce guide explains the difference between nights, meals and day care.

A meal that organizers can share

First decide who cooks and who does the serving. You can divide the preparation between the kitchens, use the brazier or pizza oven, or bring in a caterer. The story of José Romera's paella shows a meal prepared in the courtyard.

Save a solution for the rain. Côté Jardin allows a meal for up to thirty people, according to the terms agreed with Pascale; this capacity does not change the 25 beds. The spaces, installations and possible sheds must be prepared before booking.

The cost sharing rule

Have the rule accepted before collecting deposits: per household, per person or according to the nights actually occupied. Do not assume that everyone will participate in paid activities.

Expense Decision to make as a family
Rental Hosting quote sharing rule
Common meals Prize pool and possible children's share
Optional activities Payment by registered participants

The grid of the entire domain serves as a benchmark; the quote confirms dates, nights, inclusions and total. Linen is optional, 15 € per person per stay, sheets and towels included. Specify cleaning, taxes and deposit, without adding twice a line already included.

Keep time without reservation

A family meal can be the common meeting of the day. Other times can be free: walks, games, village or swimming pool in season. The pool is shared in partial rental and exclusive in full privatization, from mid-May to September depending on the weather; children remain under adult supervision.

For an outing, check age, duration, abilities and accessibility with the operator. At the Mas, Vercors Booth came to install a photo booth and Domaine Les Hermessaines offered a tasting. These are possibilities to be booked directly, not a program imposed on the whole family.

Group possible dates, people staying, guests and special needs in a single message. Pascale will be able to check the conditions for your family reunion or your family vacation.
