A family reunion around wine with Domaine Les Hermessaines
The Domaine Les Hermessaines organized a tasting at Mas d’Eylieux. This meeting made us want to present their work to the families who meet here: discover wine at the place of stay, then continue the conversation at the table.
Their vines are in Drôme Provençale, around Solérieux and Suze-la-Rousse. The Mas welcomes families to Saint-Montan, in Ardèche. An intervention at the estate and an outing in the vineyards are therefore two different ways of meeting them.
What you can ask the winemaker
L’Automne, Résonance and Le Trésor de Fripon are label names linked to the estate and the cavage. To choose a bottle, look his profile at Les Hermessaines : appellation, vintage and content. The presentation of French Truffle also tells about these dressings.
A tasting allows time to talk about the vintage, the grape varieties and the meal. The dinner menu helps with bottle selection. Also specify whether you want a commented presentation or simply purchasing advice: the organization will not be the same.
A meeting in the middle of the family weekend
The photo shows a large table at the Mas; it shows the context of the meal, not the content of a tasting.
Some relatives do not drink alcohol. Keep the discovery optional and provide non-alcoholic drinks for the table. The number of participants in the tasting is not necessarily that of the people accommodated: transmit the two figures separately.
For a new intervention, agree on the program, installation and price directly with Les Hermessaines. Their arrival already at the Mas does not guarantee availability for all dates.

The walks in the vineyards allow you to discover the grape varieties and seasonal work. The meeting point must be confirmed with the area before setting off. Plan the outing like a real weekend time, adding the journey.
The stay at the Mas is prepared with Pascale: six cottages, exactly 25 beds for your family reunion. The tasting or visit must be reserved and paid for with the partner.
