For a summer week, choose two or three outings that really mean something to your group. Then keep your days free: arriving, cooking, meeting up at the gîte and letting the children breathe are also part of the stay.

From Mas d’Eylieux in Saint-Montan, count approximately 35 to 40 minutes by car to Vallon-Pont-d’Arc, excluding traffic and parking. You can spend a day in this area, then return to your lodge. To choose your sector, your dates and your budget, start with our holiday guide in Southern Ardèche.

Around Vallon, prepare one outing at a time

To see the arch, check the parking and shuttle schedule. To paddle, choose the canoe course depending on swimming, age, supervision and authorized navigation. River activity remains subject to the conditions of the day.

To Chauvet 2, the guided time slot and the advance requested at reception set part of the day. Prepare these times before adding lunch in Vallon or another visit.

Free day Market, suitable walk or rest Decide on site according to desire and conditions

This table offers an order, not a service sold by the Mas. Activities can be booked separately. With little ones, our family activities guide helps reduce journeys and constraints.

Breaks at the Mas between excursions

None Mas gîte is not air conditioned. For your summer dates, take this limit into account and prepare a program adapted to extreme heat, with less driving and breaks.

The Mas d’Eylieux is in Saint-Montan, on an estate of 40 hectares. The six lodges are independent: you can prepare meals in your accommodation and divide the nights according to the beds confirmed before booking. The whole totals exactly 25 beds.

The swimming pool is shared for partial rental and exclusive for full privatization. The opening depends on the weather; children remain under the supervision of their caregivers. Consult the lodges, pool conditions and the practical access and stay information to prepare for the holidays.

When it's too hot or the program changes

A cave can replace an exit on foot, depending on its opening and the places available. Compare stairs and duration in our cave guide. For a hot day, reduce travel and effort rather than systematically adding a swim.

Consult the weather alert before heading out on the river or on the trails. If an outing is canceled, you will find other ideas in the rainy weather guide.

For a family reunion or group vacation from 20 to 25 people, first send your dates, the workforce and the desired distribution to Pascale. This allows accommodation to be confirmed before organizing the days.

Practical questions

Can we book the activities with the rental of the gîte?

Visits, canoeing and other activities must be booked separately with their organizers. Prepare their schedules and conditions after confirming accommodation.

Is the Mas suitable for a family holiday of 20 to 25 people?

The six gîtes have exactly 25 beds. Availability, distribution of beds and rental formula are confirmed with Pascale before booking.
