A week at Mas d’Eylieux: spread out the outings from Saint-Montan
Here is a plot for seven days at Mas d’Eylieux. The days are not linked to a mandatory arrival on Saturday: move the stages according to your dates, markets and reserved slots. Save the day on the water early enough in the trip so you can reschedule it if conditions change.
From Eylieux, Viviers and Bourg-Saint-Andéol take around ten minutes by car excluding traffic; Vallon rather 35 to 40 minutes. Villages further west require more roads. These benchmarks do not include stops, parking and walking in place.

On arrival, keep the evening available
Installation, distribution of rooms and first shopping trips already take up time. The arrival time is confirmed with Pascale. An easy dinner at the lodge avoids having to book a restaurant before knowing the arrival time of everyone close to you.

Canoe day
Choose the route with the rental company: duration, swimming abilities, age of the children and transport must be checked for the chosen formula. The descent guide and that of canoe with children allow you to prepare these questions.
Save the evening for the return to the domain. A physical activity does not need to be followed by a second visit at a fixed time.
Chauvet 2 and Vallon
La Grotte Chauvet 2 recommends approximately 3:30 for the entire site, including approximately one hour in the replica. Reserve the slot then add the route and the requested arrival margin. Our Chauvet guide 2 gathers practical information.
The Pont d’Arc can be placed before or after, depending on the time of the ticket and the desire of the group. Consult access to the Pont d’Arc for car parks, seasonal shuttles and daily instructions.
A day closer to the Mas
The Viviers market is on Tuesday morning. It can be combined with visiting the upper town, provided that you provide for the conservation of fresh purchases. The market calendar offers other days if Tuesday is not suitable.
The rest of the day can be spent at the estate. The swimming pool is shared in rental of a gîte and exclusive in full privatization, with an opening from mid-May to September depending on the weather.
Saint-Marcel and the views
The cave of Saint-Marcel constitutes another underground visit. Consult the openings and access conditions; clothing and shoes must be appropriate for the visit.
The belvedere route can complete the day. Limit stops to those you want to see and leave time for turns. In case of rain, the other covered outings allow you to modify the stage without forcing a river walk.
Villages and wine, according to your desire
You can stay near Saint-Montan: Bourg-Saint-Andéol, then a domain of Côtes du Vivarais contacted in advance. A cellar visit requires its own arrangements and a driver who does not taste.
